I’d like to introduce you to a new project of mine.
I’m calling it “Assembled Stories.” Very simply, photographs of assembled objects that together tell a story.
This first one was created by the assembled bits and pieces of my Dad’s passion for photography. He’s the reason why I’m so intrigued by photography, so I thought it was fitting that the first photograph I share with you is this one. ❤️ More details if you’re curious ↓
The players (objects) —>
- Dad’s 1960s-era Minolta SR7
- His camera strap from the 1970s that he thought was so cool and my teenage self thought was not cool
- Just a few of thousands of the slides (1940s-1980s) my sister and I inherited from his collection
- One of my favorite photos of Dad with the camera in his hands. I don’t know who took this, but I’m so grateful they did.
