Things Moms Love – Baking

by

I’m blessed to be a mother and a grandmother and feel the love every day from my little bunch. I wish the same for all of you.

This is part 2 in my Assembled Story series – “Things Moms Love.” Last post, it was books. Today, baking! 🍪 ❤️

Assembled Story: “Things Moms Love – Baking”

The players:

  • Fresh-baked Toll House Cookies (I cheated and used the premade cut-out dough because…I’m busy. But just as delicious!)
  • An assortment of vintage linens from here and there
  • My treasured bottle of Watkins Baking Vanilla
  • Mom’s wooden rolling pin and yellow gingham apron
  • Nanny Alice’s (my grandmother) 1930s-era salt and pepper shakers
  • Beaters from my own 1980 vintage hand mixer, which I still use
  • My measuring spoons
  • A hodgepodge of cookie recipes from the family collection
